About
SWFLTech is a volunteer-led nonprofit that champions the growth of Southwest Florida's technology sector. Its tagline — "Uniting & Promoting Technology, Education, Communication, Collaboration, and Innovation in Sunny Southwest Florida" — captures the organization's role as a connecting hub for the region's tech ecosystem. SWFLTech brings together startups, established companies, schools, government, investors, and support organizations to collaborate on regional tech advancement. Its current priorities include building a strong membership network, distributing curated resources via newsletter and website, recognizing regional tech innovators, and hosting the annual TechMatch event that connects employers with job seekers. SWFLTech also supports student robotics and computing programs through partnerships with FIRST Robotics and Aspirations in Computing. Individuals can join the free newsletter; organizations can join as paid members. The group is headquartered in downtown Fort Myers and serves the broader 7-county SWFL region.
